DO I NEED TO HAVE UTILITIES LOCATED BEFORE THE WORK BEGINS?

If you believe utilities could be located near the stump, please make us aware at the beginning of the job. Our initial on-site consultation will determine if utilities need to be located before the work begins.

WHAT IF THE STUMP IS BEHIND A FENCE?

The machine we use can fit through a 36" gate, so that should not be an issue at all!

WILL THE TREE GROW BACK?

Offshoots are possible whenever a tree is removed. If the shavings are removed, topsoil is properly backfilled, and sod/seed is planted, your regular mowings will prevent future growth.

IS STUMP GRINDING A DIY JOB?

While some companies do rent equipment to the general public for stump grinding, this equipment is often undersized and/or improperly maintained. In addition to the obvious safety/personal property concerns, inexperienced users can do unnecessary damage to their lawns or miss parts of the root system/stump, resulting in an unsightly lawn.

While it does take an on-site consultation to confirm our ability to offer service, our stump grinder is four wheel drive for this reason.

DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS FOR MULIPLE STUMPS?

We will absolutely offer better prices for larger jobs. Much of our time is spent unloading and reloading our stump grinder before moving to our next site, so our stump removal prices always consider the size off the job.

CAN'T I JUST WAIT FOR THE STUMP TO ROT?

Allowing nature to take its course is always an option, just keep in mind a 20" oak stump could take 12-20 years to completely rot out depending on environmental conditions.
